Tour de France 2012 - Stage 6

I was able to carry live coverage on my Twitter account for the last 20K or so of  Stage 6. Unfortunately, Cav had been involved in the aftermath of an almighty crash 25K from the end, puncturing whilst braking hard to avoid the crash... This was disappointing for Cav's supporters and left Peter Sagan to claim his third stage win of this year's TDF ahead of Andre Griepel who survived the crash, with a shoulder injury, nonetheless the German still fought manfully for what could have been a third consecutive stage win....

As I suggested on Twitter, Mark is unlikely to feature in any sprint finishes until stage 13 now...
